SRFACE is a direct-to-consumer wetsuit scaleup focussed on designing high-end products and delivering exceptional customer service. Since the launch of our brand in 2018 we’re growing rapidly in Europe.

We’re a passionate team of founders, partners, employees, and ambassadors based in The Netherlands, France, United Kingdom, South Africa, Portugal and Germany. We love surfing. We even love surfing in cold water. We believe that the more you surf, the better you feel. Amazed at the high price of quality wetsuits, we made it our mission to design the wetsuit we couldn’t find, at a price we could afford.

After 5 years of revolutionizing online wetsuit shopping it’s time for our next step: We’re excited to present our SRFACE Surf School Program. Providing high quality, affordable and durable student wetsuits and an opportunity to profit from every SRFACE wetsuit sold to students without any financial risks.

What you’ll do

As a Surf School Sales Agent, your primary responsibility will be to generate sales for our Surf School Program within your country. You will play a vital role in expanding our reach and promoting our offerings to potential customers. By actively generating leads and establishing relationships with surf school owners, surf clubs, surf camps, and wave pools, you will drive the growth of our program.

You’re tech savvy – we’re an online business – and feel comfortable working with apps like Asana, Slack and Google Workspace.

When you’re not talking to customers, you’ll be assisting our marketing team in the daily operation: Preparing social media posts, engaging with followers, writing blog and SEO content and talking to our ambassadors about their surf adventures.

A typical day as Surf School Sales Agent

As a Surf School Sales Agent, your typical day will be dynamic and diverse, filled with exciting opportunities to promote our Surf School Program and engage with potential customers. Here’s a glimpse of what a typical day might look like:

Morning Preparation:

  • Start your day by reviewing your sales targets, priorities, and any scheduled appointments or follow-ups from the previous day(s).
  • Check your email and other communication channels for any new leads or inquiries that require immediate attention.
  • Begin your day by actively generating leads through various channels, including online research, industry events, social media, and networking.

Outreach and Relationship Building:

  • Initiate contact with potential customers through phone calls, emails, or in-person meetings.
  • Introduce our Surf School Program, highlighting its unique features, benefits, and value proposition.
  • Engage in consultative selling by understanding the specific needs and goals of potential customers and tailoring your pitch accordingly.

Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:

  • Conduct sales presentations to showcase the benefits of our Surf School Program.
  • Address any questions, concerns, or objections potential customers may have, providing accurate and persuasive responses.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop customized sales materials and proposals.

Follow-ups and Closing:

  • Follow up with leads and potential customers to nurture the relationship and address any additional inquiries or concerns.
  • Negotiate terms and any necessary contractual agreements.
  • Close sales and secure commitments from interested parties.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Generate regular reports to update management on sales performance, pipeline status, and upcoming opportunities.
  • Throughout the day, you may also collaborate with the marketing team to provide insights, share customer feedback, and contribute to the development of marketing campaigns or promotional materials. Additionally, you may attend industry events, surf expos, or community gatherings to expand your network and stay connected with the surf community.

As a Surf School Sales Agent, each day will bring new challenges and opportunities to promote our Surf School Program and contribute to its growth. Your passion for surfing and dedication to customer satisfaction will fuel your success in this role.

About you & what we expect

  • Passion for surfing and a genuine enthusiasm for promoting the sport
  • You know a thing or two about wetsuits and follow the latest industry trends and developments
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the surf industry or related field
  • Strong knowledge of the local surf scene, including surf schools, clubs, camps, and wave pools
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with potential customers
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented with a drive to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Flexibility to travel within the assigned territory and attend industry events as required
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
  • Part-time / full-time availability from May until October 2024
