FAQ

The wetsuit top is made for warm water, typically around 18 to 35°C. It's perfect for summer sessions when you want a bit of extra warmth, UV protection, and wind resistance without needing a full wetsuit. You can wear it on its own in warm conditions or layer it under a wetsuit during shoulder seasons for added insulation.

Proper care will extend the life and performance of your SRFACE summer wetsuit. After each session, rinse your wetsuit thoroughly with fresh, cold water to remove salt, sand, and other residues. Do not use hot water, detergents, or machine washing, as these can degrade the neoprene and seams.

Turn your wetsuit inside out while drying to protect the outer surface from UV damage. Hang it on a wide, padded hanger or fold it at the waist over a drying rack to prevent shoulder stretch. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources (like radiators or car trunks) which can cause the neoprene to become brittle over time.

Once fully dry inside and out, store your wetsuit in a cool, dry, and shaded place. For long-term storage, keep it hanging or loosely folded without creases, and avoid placing heavy items on top of it. With regular care, your SRFACE wetsuit will remain flexible, warm, and ready for the water whenever you are.

It’s best to avoid drying your wetsuit in direct sunlight. While it might seem like the quickest option, prolonged sun exposure can damage the neoprene, causing it to dry out, crack, and lose flexibility over time. UV rays can also fade the fabric and weaken the materials, shortening your wetsuit’s lifespan. For best results, rinse your wetsuit with fresh water after each session and hang it to dry in the shade, inside-out first, then flip it once the inside is dry.
