SRFACE Wetsuits

Your go-to SRFACE winter wetsuit

When the temperature drops and winter swell starts rolling in, a 6/5mm wetsuit is your go-to for cold water surf. SRFACE 6/5mm wetsuits are designed to keep you warm in water temperatures around 2°C to 8°C without limiting your movement. Our men and women winter wetsuit 6mm collection delivers serious insulation, a secure fit, and the flexibility you need to surf through the coldest months.

Quality materials for great performance

Each 6/5mm wetsuit features 6mm neoprene in the core for maximum warmth and 5mm in the arms and legs for freedom of movement. We use premium limestone neoprene for a lighter and stretchier design. All seams are glued, blind stitched, and internally taped to minimize water entry and extend durability while a chest zip design ensures a snug fit and reduces flushing.

Sustainability in every step

All SRFACE wetsuits, including our wetsuit 6mm range, are made with sustainability in mind. However, the eco-friendly wetsuit cycle doesn’t end at the factory, think of carbon neutral shipping, packaging made from recycled materials, or even the decision making process which is based on the Planet-Quality-Price framework.

FAQ's

FAQ

A 6mm wetsuit is made for freezing water, typically below 8°C. This thickness is perfect for winter sessions in northern Europe where you need extra warmth without giving up too much flexibility. The 6mm wetsuit often comes with a fixed hood, but adding accessories such boots or gloves allows you to stay in the lineup even longer.

All SRFACE wetsuits are designed with front zip as it offers several performance and comfort benefits over traditional back zip designs. By placing the zipper across the chest, front zip wetsuits reduce water flushing, the movement of cold water into the suit, which helps keep you warmer for longer. The front entry also allows for a more flexible and seamless back panel, giving you greater freedom of movement, especially when paddling or duck diving. Unlike back zip suits that can feel restrictive or create pressure along the spine, a front zip maintains comfort without sacrificing performance. Plus, there's no need to reach behind your neck to zip up, making it easier to get in and out of the suit on your own.

Input your body height, weight, chest and waist size into our wetsuit Size Finder and we’ll recommend the perfect wetsuit size. Sizes are body sizes, not garment dimensions. If you have multiple matches in the Size Finder, choose the smaller size for a snug fit and less water entry, or the bigger size for more comfort and getting in and out of your wetsuit easier. All body types are different, the size chart is a guideline only. Not sure which wetsuit size to choose? Contact our customer support through web chat. Measuring tips:

  • Body height- Measure your height in a straight line from flat ground to the top of your head.
  • Chest size- Measure around the widest part of your chest, just under your armpits at the nipple line.
  • Waist size- Measure around your waistline, just above your belly button and below your rib cage.
  • Hip size (for women only)- Measure around your waist line below your belly button
