SRFACE Accessories

Quality materials for every session

The performance and durability of any surf accessory starts with the materials it's made from. At SRFACE, we carefully select fabrics and components that are built for life in and around the water, from premium limestone neoprene in our cold-water accessories to REPREVE® recycled polyester in our boardshorts and quick-drying recycled fabrics in our UV shirts. Designed to withstand sun, salt water, and regular use, these high-quality materials provide lasting comfort, reliable performance, and a lower environmental impact, helping you get more out of every session.

How to care for your wetsuit and neoprene accessories

Proper care is one of the easiest ways to extend the life of your wetsuit and neoprene accessories. After each session, rinse your wetsuit and neoprene products thoroughly with cold or lukewarm water to remove salt, sand, and dirt, and use a natural soap or SRFACE Wetsuit Wash to keep them fresh. Avoid harsh chemicals, detergents, machine washing, and tumble drying, as these can damage neoprene and seams over time. When drying your wetsuit and neoprene accessories, keep them out of direct sunlight, as UV rays and ozone can reduce the flexibility of neoprene, cause colours to fade, and accelerate wear.

Extend the life cycle of your neoprene products

Making your surf products last longer is one of the most effective ways to reduce their environmental impact. By caring for your wetsuit and neoprene accessories properly and repairing small damages when they occur, you can extend their lifespan and keep them in use for many more sessions. When a wetsuit finally reaches the end of its life, the SRFACE Recycling Label makes it easy to send it for recycling instead of landfill. Collected wetsuits are shredded and repurposed into new materials such as insulation, shoe soles, and industrial filters, helping to reduce waste and support a more circular surf industry.

FAQ

Try it on, paddle out, cut back, get tubed. You can try any of our products for 30 days from the day you receive them. This post-purchase, risk-free 30 day trial serves as our return policy. If you decide your SRFACE wetsuit isn’t for you, return it in the original SRFACE packaging. Simply activate your return label We charge €5/£5/$5 per return to promote conscious consumption, minimising our collective carbon footprint. This amount will be deducted from your refund.

To stay warm and safe in cold water, you’ll need a few key accessories. Neoprene boots (5–7mm) keep your feet warm and improve grip, while gloves (3–5mm) protect your hands from wind chill. A neoprene hood, either attached or separate, helps prevent heat loss through your head. Many winter surfers also use a thermal rash vest under their wetsuit for extra insulation. Cold-water surf wax is essential to maintain traction on your board.

Proper care will extend the life and performance of your SRFACE wetsuit. After each session, rinse your wetsuit thoroughly with fresh, cold water to remove salt, sand, and other residues. Do not use hot water, detergents, or machine washing, as these can degrade the neoprene and seams.

Turn your wetsuit inside out while drying to protect the outer surface from UV damage. Hang it on a wide, padded hanger or fold it at the waist over a drying rack to prevent shoulder stretch. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources (like radiators or car trunks) which can cause the neoprene to become brittle over time.

Once fully dry inside and out, store your wetsuit in a cool, dry, and shaded place. For long-term storage, keep it hanging or loosely folded without creases, and avoid placing heavy items on top of it. With regular care, your SRFACE wetsuit will remain flexible, warm, and ready for the water whenever you are.
