SRFACE Wetsuits

All-year round comfort with SRFACE 4/3 wetsuit

A 4/3mm wetsuit sits right between a thinner summer suit and a thicker winter wetsuit, making it one of the most versatile choices out there. If you don’t surf in the depths of winter or just want one suit to get you through most of the year, this could be the only wetsuit you need. It’s warm enough for cold mornings and shoulder seasons, but still flexible enough to wear during warmer sessions (especially in places like southern Europe). If you’re surfing further north, a 4/3mm wetsuit offers extra insulation starting around early spring, with more comfort than a summer suit in chilly conditions.

Premium features of 4/3 wetsuits

SRFACE 4/3mm wetsuits are made with 4mm neoprene in the core for warmth, and 3mm in the arms and legs for flexibility. Most of our 4/3mm styles use high-quality limestone neoprene, with the exception of the Eco line, which is made from high-quality Yulex® natural rubber. The seams are glued, blind stitched, and internally taped to reduce water entry and extend the life of the suit while a chest zip ensures a snug fit and less flushing. SRFACE wetsuits strike a great balance between performance and comfort. Our 4mm wetsuit collection includes both men’s and women’s fits in a range of sizes, including standard and tall options designed to move with you and keep you warm.

FAQ

The SRFACE 4mm men's wetsuit is designed for use in cold water conditions, typically ranging between 12°C and 15°C. It offers an ideal balance of warmth and flexibility for the colder months of spring, autumn, and milder winter days, depending on your location. If you’re someone with a higher tolerance for cold, you might even find it comfortable in slightly colder waters when paired with appropriate accessories like boots, gloves, and a hood.

All SRFACE wetsuits are designed with front zip as it offers several performance and comfort benefits over traditional back zip designs. By placing the zipper across the chest, front zip wetsuits reduce water flushing, the movement of cold water into the suit, which helps keep you warmer for longer. The front entry also allows for a more flexible and seamless back panel, giving you greater freedom of movement, especially when paddling or duck diving. Unlike back zip suits that can feel restrictive or create pressure along the spine, a front zip maintains comfort without sacrificing performance. Plus, there's no need to reach behind your neck to zip up, making it easier to get in and out of the suit on your own.

Input your body height, weight, chest and waist size into our wetsuit Size Finder and we’ll recommend the perfect wetsuit size. Sizes are body sizes, not garment dimensions. If you have multiple matches in the Size Finder, choose the smaller size for a snug fit and less water entry, or the bigger size for more comfort and getting in and out of your wetsuit easier. All body types are different, the size chart is a guideline only. Not sure which wetsuit size to choose? Contact our customer support through web chat. Measuring tips:

  • Body height- Measure your height in a straight line from flat ground to the top of your head.
  • Chest size- Measure around the widest part of your chest, just under your armpits at the nipple line.
  • Waist size- Measure around your waistline, just above your belly button and below your rib cage.
  • Hip size (for women only)- Measure around your waist line below your belly button
