Size and thickness

Input your body height, weight, chest and waist size into our wetsuit Size Finder and we’ll recommend the perfect wetsuit size. Sizes are body sizes, not garment dimensions. If you have multiple matches in the Size Finder, choose the smaller size for a snug fit and less water entry, or the bigger size for more comfort and getting in and out of your wetsuit easier. All body types are different, the size chart is a guideline only. Not sure which wetsuit size to choose? Contact our customer support through web chat. Or read more about choosing the right wetsuit size.

Body height
Measure your height in a straight line from flat ground to the top of your head.

Chest size
Measure around the widest part of your chest, just under your armpits at the nipple line.

Waist size
Measure around your waistline, just above your belly button and below your rib cage.

Different water temperatures require different wetsuit neoprene thicknesses. We recommend the following wetsuit thicknesses for the indicated water temperatures:

Design and production

We strive to make our product as eco-friendly as possible. By working with sustainable materials and partners, we’re reducing CO2 emission and our ecological footprint. We use limestone neoprene, which is more eco-friendly than its petroleum based predecessor. SRFACE Eco wetsuits are made with Yulex®️, a neoprene free material. This flexible foam is made from natural rubber which is sustainably harvested from rubber trees in Sri Lanka. You can contribute yourself by recycling your SRFACE packaging which has been neatly designed for use as a wetsuit bag.

SRFACE wetsuits are produced in small batches, which allows us to continuously update and improve our designs. Our wetsuits are carefully assembled by hand with great attention to detail. We’ve partnered with the world’s leading wetsuit manufacturer to guarantee top-of-the-line quality. Every single wetsuit is checked and tested before it’s packed and shipped to your doorstep. Our wetsuits are made in Cambodia and Thailand.

Features

Limestone is an earth mined product that replaces the nasty petrochemicals in neoprene. It is a more eco-friendly alternative to petroleum based neoprene and features superior insulation and flexibility qualities.

Smoothskin is a heat treated neoprene that possesses superior insulation qualities. There is no outside lining on smoothskin panels meaning the wind chill factor is dramatically reduced, keeping your upper body much warmer without affecting the overall performance of your wetsuit. Smoothskin is less flexible than untreated neoprene so is used only to make up the chest and back panels.

SRFACE plush is a soft fabric lining used on the inside of all SRFACE wetsuits. Possessing superior insulation qualities and providing additional comfort against the skin, plush lining will keep you warm for longer without compromising performance. SRFACE winter wetsuits features plush lining to the body and upper leg panels. While SRFACE summer wetsuits features plush lining to the body panels only, or require no plush lining at all.

Our outside rubber seal is the first line of defence against cold water. And the tape on the inside of your wetsuit reinforces the seams, blocks cold and reduces chafing against the skin. SRFACE Heat wetsuits feature sealed and taped seams.

SRFACE products

Choose the Heat if you’re surfing in very cold and windy conditions. The smoothskin panels protect against windchill and the sealed seams make the wetsuit almost water proof. Choose the Remix if you’re looking for a more all-round high quality wetsuit that performs well in all conditions. It will be a little colder than the Heat in windy conditions. However, it’s more flexible than the Heat and Yamamoto #40 neoprene is slightly warmer in normal surfing conditions than our regular limestone neoprene.

SRFACE Heat wetsuits are optimized for insulation, offer extra windchill protection and are ideal for colder conditions and longer sessions. Our Heat wetsuits feature limestone neoprene, 360° stretch lining, a single lined smoothskin chest and back panel, 100% liquid sealed and taped seams, plush insulation and sealed cuffs.

SRFACE Flex wetsuits are designed for maximum freedom of motion and are ideal for warmer days and shorter sessions. Our Flex wetsuits feature fully double lined limestone neoprene, 360° stretch lining, Glued and Blindstitched (GBS) seams, 100% taped inside seams, plush insulation and sealed cuffs.

SRFACE Remix wetsuits are the latest addition to our wetsuit range and combine ultimate Heat and Flex thanks to the state-of-the-art Japanese Yamamoto #40 neoprene. Our Remix wetsuits feature fully double lined Yamamoto #40 limestone neoprene, 360° stretch lining, Glued and Blindstitched (GBS) seams, 100% taped inside seams, plush insulation and sealed cuffs.

SRFACE Eco wetsuits are made with Yulex®, a neoprene free material. This flexible foam is made from natural rubber which is sustainably harvested from rubber trees in Sri Lanka. Our Eco wetsuits feature fully double lined neoprene-free natural rubber foam, recycled 360° stretch lining, Glued and Blindstitched (GBS) seams, 100% hand taped inside seams, recycled plush insulation and sealed cuffs.

After every surf, rinse your wetsuit with cold water. Then hang your wetsuit, preferably by the waist, in a dry and shady place to drip dry. Do not leave your wetsuit in the sun as this will damage the materials. Do not put your wetsuit in a washing machine or dryer. Do not use a blowdryer or chemicals. We’ve put together a complete SRFACE wetsuit care guide with our best tips.

No. SRFACE wetsuits have been exclusively designed for use during surface (above) water sports such as surfing, kiteboarding, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing etc. Do not use a SRFACE wetsuit for diving.
