SRFACE Wetsuits

Ideal Conditions for a 2/2mm Wetsuit

A 2/2mm wetsuit is made for warm-water sessions where flexibility and comfort are key. It is best suited for temperatures between 17–22°C, it offers just enough insulation to keep muscles warm without overheating. It’s also a smart choice for staying protected from wind chill, board rash, and harsh UV rays during longer days in the sun. The lightweight build and stretchy neoprene let you move freely, making it ideal for fast paddling, smooth takeoffs, and stylish turns. For late spring, summer, and tropical conditions, the 2/2 is a go-to essential.

Fit that feels right

A good wetsuit should feel like a second skin, that’s why SRFACE offers a wide range of sizes and an intuitive size finder to help you get the right fit. Our 2/2mm wetsuits are made from premium limestone-based neoprene, known for its durability, stretch, and reduced environmental impact compared to traditional petroleum-based alternatives. The minimal-panel construction and liquid-sealed seams enhance comfort and performance by reducing chafing and increasing flexibility. Designed for surfing, built for movement.

Styles for Every Session

Each 2/2mm style is designed to suit different surf conditions and personal preferences. The short sleeve wetsuit for men offers core warmth and maximum paddling freedom, ideal for mid-summer sessions. The long sleeve shorty wetsuit adds extra protection for your arms against wind and sun, great for breezy mornings or longer days in the water. The neoprene top is the lightest option, perfect for warm tropical waves where you just need UV and rash protection.

For women, the long sleeve shorty wetsuit delivers a balance of warmth, mobility, and sun coverage, while the springsuit is designed for the hottest days when full flexibility and breathability matter most. No matter your pick, every cut is performance-ready and built for comfort during summer sessions.

Ready for warmer waters? SRFACE 2/2mm wetsuits and provide the perfect summer fit for your next session.

FAQ

Input your body height, weight, chest and waist size into our wetsuit Size Finder and we’ll recommend the perfect wetsuit size. Sizes are body sizes, not garment dimensions. If you have multiple matches in the Size Finder, choose the smaller size for a snug fit and less water entry, or the bigger size for more comfort and getting in and out of your wetsuit easier. All body types are different, the size chart is a guideline only. Not sure which wetsuit size to choose? Contact our customer support through web chat. Measuring tips:

  • Body height- Measure your height in a straight line from flat ground to the top of your head.
  • Chest size- Measure around the widest part of your chest, just under your armpits at the nipple line.
  • Waist size- Measure around your waistline, just above your belly button and below your rib cage.
  • Hip size (for women only)- Measure around your waist line below your belly button

Proper care will extend the life and performance of your SRFACE wetsuit. After each session, rinse your wetsuit thoroughly with fresh, cold water to remove salt, sand, and other residues. Do not use hot water, detergents, or machine washing, as these can degrade the neoprene and seams.

Turn your wetsuit inside out while drying to protect the outer surface from UV damage. Hang it on a wide, padded hanger or fold it at the waist over a drying rack to prevent shoulder stretch. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources (like radiators or car trunks) which can cause the neoprene to become brittle over time.

Once fully dry inside and out, store your wetsuit in a cool, dry, and shaded place. For long-term storage, keep it hanging or loosely folded without creases, and avoid placing heavy items on top of it. With regular care, your SRFACE wetsuit will remain flexible, warm, and ready for the water whenever you are.

It’s best to avoid drying your wetsuit in direct sunlight. While it might seem like the quickest option, prolonged sun exposure can damage the neoprene, causing it to dry out, crack, and lose flexibility over time. UV rays can also fade the fabric and weaken the materials, shortening your wetsuit’s lifespan. For best results, rinse your wetsuit with fresh water after each session and hang it to dry in the shade, inside-out first, then flip it once the inside is dry.
