SRFACE Wetsuits

Comfort for long days by the beach

The demands of a summer surf session do not end when you leave the water. Hours spent checking conditions, travelling between spots, or relaxing on the beach can mean prolonged exposure to sun, heat, and coastal winds. Apparel designed with lightweight, quick-drying, and UV-protective materials helps improve comfort throughout the day, allowing surfers to spend more time outdoors without compromising on protection.

A more responsible approach to summer essentials

At SRFACE, sustainability is part of every product decision we make. Guided by our PQP Framework, which stands for Planet, Quality and Price, we aim to balance responsible choices with the performance, comfort, and durability surfers expect. By focusing on quality materials and products designed to last, we help reduce unnecessary waste while creating summer essentials that can be enjoyed season after season.

FAQ

A summer wetsuit is ideal for use in warmer water temperatures, generally between 15°C and 25°C (60°F to 72°F), where full thermal insulation isn’t required, but some protection is still essential. Summer wetsuits provide light insulation to keep you comfortable during long sessions, especially on cooler mornings, windy days, or after extended time in the water.

Beyond warmth, a summer wetsuit also offers critical protection from the sun. Neoprene acts as a barrier against harmful UV rays, reducing the risk of sunburn and long-term skin damage, especially during peak daylight hours when you're most exposed. It also helps protect against rashes, stings, and abrasions from your board or reef making it a smart choice even in tropical climates where thermal protection isn’t the primary concern.

Input your body height, weight, chest and waist size into our wetsuit Size Finder and we’ll recommend the perfect wetsuit size. Sizes are body sizes, not garment dimensions. If you have multiple matches in the Size Finder, choose the smaller size for a snug fit and less water entry, or the bigger size for more comfort and getting in and out of your wetsuit easier. All body types are different, the size chart is a guideline only. Not sure which wetsuit size to choose? Contact our customer support through web chat. Measuring tips:

  • Body height- Measure your height in a straight line from flat ground to the top of your head.
  • Chest size- Measure around the widest part of your chest, just under your armpits at the nipple line.
  • Waist size- Measure around your waistline, just above your belly button and below your rib cage.
  • Hip size (for women only)- Measure around your waist line below your belly button
