SRFACE wetsuits

Surfing in moderate climates

A 4/3mm wetsuit for men is one of the most versatile options in the lineup. Sitting between a thinner summer suit and a thicker winter wetsuit, it’s a solid choice if you want just one wetsuit to cover most of the year. It offers enough warmth for cold mornings and shoulder seasons, but stays flexible and light enough for warmer sessions especially if you’re surfing in southern Europe or other moderate climates. For spots further north, a mens 4/3 wetsuit gives you more insulation starting in early spring, and more comfort in cooler summer conditions compared to a 3/2.

4/3 wetsuits made with quality in mind

SRFACE 4mm men’s wetsuits are made with 4mm limestone neoprene in the torso for warmth, and 3mm in the arms and legs for better movement while paddling. Seams are glued, blind stitched, and internally taped to keep cold water out and improve durability. All men’s wetsuit 4/3 styles are designed with chest zip for a more secure fit and less flushing, helping you stay warm and focused in the water.

Variety of men wetsuit sizes

SRFACE provide a wide range of wetsuit sizes for men, so every surfer finds their perfect fit. We don’t carry just the regular sizes of wetsuits but also the Tall and Short variant. Don’t worry though, it’s not too overwhelming to choose the right size as you can use our Size Finder. Simply input your measurements and receive personalized size recommendations. That’s how easy it is.

FAQ

The SRFACE 4mm men's wetsuit is designed for use in cold water conditions, typically ranging between 12°C and 15°C. It offers an ideal balance of warmth and flexibility for the colder months of spring, autumn, and milder winter days, depending on your location. If you’re someone with a higher tolerance for cold, you might even find it comfortable in slightly colder waters when paired with appropriate accessories like boots, gloves, and a hood.

All SRFACE wetsuits are designed with front zip as it offers several performance and comfort benefits over traditional back zip designs. By placing the zipper across the chest, front zip wetsuits reduce water flushing, the movement of cold water into the suit, which helps keep you warmer for longer. The front entry also allows for a more flexible and seamless back panel, giving you greater freedom of movement, especially when paddling or duck diving. Unlike back zip suits that can feel restrictive or create pressure along the spine, a front zip maintains comfort without sacrificing performance. Plus, there's no need to reach behind your neck to zip up, making it easier to get in and out of the suit on your own.

Proper care will extend the life and performance of your SRFACE wetsuit. After each session, rinse your wetsuit thoroughly with fresh, cold water to remove salt, sand, and other residues. Do not use hot water, detergents, or machine washing, as these can degrade the neoprene and seams.

Turn your wetsuit inside out while drying to protect the outer surface from UV damage. Hang it on a wide, padded hanger or fold it at the waist over a drying rack to prevent shoulder stretch. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources (like radiators or car trunks) which can cause the neoprene to become brittle over time.

Once fully dry inside and out, store your wetsuit in a cool, dry, and shaded place. For long-term storage, keep it hanging or loosely folded without creases, and avoid placing heavy items on top of it. With regular care, your SRFACE wetsuit will remain flexible, warm, and ready for the water whenever you are.
