The extra neoprene thickness provides insulation to retain your body heat, helping you surf longer without feeling the cold. If you're regularly facing chilly winds or cold water conditions, a 5mm wetsuit can be paired with accessories like boots, gloves, and a hood for further protection.

If you have multiple matches in the Size Finder, choose the smaller size for a snug fit and less water entry, or the bigger size for more comfort and getting in and out of your wetsuit easier. All body types are different, the size chart is a guideline only. 

Measuring tips:

• Body height- Measure your height in a straight line from flat ground to the top of your head.
• Chest size- Measure around the widest part of your chest, just under your armpits at the nipple line.
• Waist size- Measure around your waistline, just above your belly button and below your rib cage.
