SRFACE Wetsuits

The Women’s Heat 2.0 wetsuit features

Every detail in the Women’s Heat 2.0 serves a function. A minimal panel design reduces seams, increasing stretch and lowering the risk of water entry. HeatShield thermal lining helps retain body heat, while the GridFlex lining enhances flexibility for unrestricted movement. Liquid-sealed seams and thermal linings in critical areas help retain body heat during long sessions or colder days. Each wetsuit is developed and tested by surfers to meet high standards of fit, performance, and longevity in real-world conditions.

FAQ's

FAQ

The Heat wetsuit is built specifically for cold to very cold conditions, making it ideal for autumn, winter, and early spring sessions. If you surf all year, it’s best used as your dedicated winter suit, since it may feel too warm for summer surf.

Here’s a breakdown of which thickness to choose based on your local water temperatures:

  • 3/2 mm – Great for cool spring or fall sessions (approx. 14–20 °C)
  • 4/3 mm – A solid mid-season option for chilly conditions (10–18 °C)
  • 5/4 mm – Reliable for consistent winter use (5–13 °C)
  • 5/4 mm hooded – Best for colder winter days and windy spots (4–10 °C)
  • 6/5 mm hooded (men only) – Built for freezing conditions and long cold sessions (2–8 °C)

If you're unsure, our thickness guide will help match your surf location to the correct wetsuit and preferred warmth level.

Different water temperatures require different neoprene thicknesses. Therefore, you’ll need a different wetsuit for summer than for winter surfing. We recommend the following wetsuit thicknesses for the corresponding water temperatures.

If you are not sure what wetsuit thickness to choose for your local conditions, feel free to contact our customer support through live chat. You can also read more about choosing the right wetsuit thickness.

Proper care will extend the life and performance of your SRFACE wetsuit. After each session, rinse your wetsuit thoroughly with fresh, cold water to remove salt, sand, and other residues. Do not use hot water, detergents, or machine washing, as these can degrade the neoprene and seams.

Turn your wetsuit inside out while drying to protect the outer surface from UV damage. Hang it on a wide, padded hanger or fold it at the waist over a drying rack to prevent shoulder stretch. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources (like radiators or car trunks) which can cause the neoprene to become brittle over time.

Once fully dry inside and out, store your wetsuit in a cool, dry, and shaded place. For long-term storage, keep it hanging or loosely folded without creases, and avoid placing heavy items on top of it. With regular care, your SRFACE wetsuit will remain flexible, warm, and ready for the water whenever you are.
