How to find the right wetsuit size

A 4/3mm wetsuit for women sits right between a thinner summer suit and a thicker winter wetsuit, making it one of the most versatile choices out there. If you don’t surf in the depths of winter or just want one suit to get you through most of the year, this could be the only wetsuit you need. It’s warm enough for cold mornings and shoulder seasons, but still flexible enough to wear during warmer sessions (especially in places like southern Europe). If you’re surfing further north, a women’s 4/3mm wetsuit gives you extra insulation starting around early spring, with more comfort than a summer suit in chilly conditions.

Features of the SRFACE 4/3 women wetsuits

SRFACE 4/3 women wetsuits are thoroughly tested by real surfers to meet high standards of fit, durability, and performance in real-world surf conditions. SRFACE 4/3mm wetsuits are made with 4mm neoprene in the core for warmth, and 3mm in the arms and legs for flexibility. Most of our wetsuit 4/3 women styles use high-quality limestone neoprene. Seams are glued, blind stitched, and internally taped to reduce water entry and extend the life of the suit. Designed with a chest zip for a snug fit and less flushing, these wetsuits strike a great balance between performance and comfort.

Variety of women wetsuit sizes

SRFACE provide a wide range of sizes for women’s 4/3 wetsuits, so every surfer finds their perfect fit. We don’t carry just the regular sizes of wetsuits but also the Tall and Short variant. Don’t worry though, it’s not too overwhelming to choose the right size as you can use our Size Finder. Simply input your measurements and receive personalized size recommendations. That’s how easy it is.

FAQ's

FAQ

The SRFACE 4mm women's wetsuit is designed for use in cold water conditions, typically ranging between 12°C and 15°C. It offers an ideal balance of warmth and flexibility for the colder months of spring, autumn, and milder winter days, depending on your location. If you’re someone with a higher tolerance for cold, you might even find it comfortable in slightly colder waters when paired with appropriate accessories like boots, gloves, and a hood.

Input your body height, weight, chest and waist size into our wetsuit Size Finder and we’ll recommend the perfect women’s wetsuit size. Sizes are body sizes, not garment dimensions. If you have multiple matches in the Size Finder, choose the smaller size for a snug fit and less water entry, or the bigger size for more comfort and getting in and out of your wetsuit easier. All body types are different, the size chart is a guideline only. Not sure which women’s wetsuit size to choose? Contact our customer support through web chat. Measuring tips:

  • Body height- Measure your height in a straight line from flat ground to the top of your head.
  • Chest size- Measure around the widest part of your chest, just under your armpits at the nipple line.
  • Waist size- Measure around your waistline, just above your belly button and below your rib cage.
  • Hip size- Measure around your waist line below your belly button

Proper care will extend the life and performance of your SRFACE wetsuit. After each session, rinse your wetsuit thoroughly with fresh, cold water to remove salt, sand, and other residues. Do not use hot water, detergents, or machine washing, as these can degrade the neoprene and seams.

Turn your wetsuit inside out while drying to protect the outer surface from UV damage. Hang it on a wide, padded hanger or fold it at the waist over a drying rack to prevent shoulder stretch. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources (like radiators or car trunks) which can cause the neoprene to become brittle over time.

Once fully dry inside and out, store your wetsuit in a cool, dry, and shaded place. For long-term storage, keep it hanging or loosely folded without creases, and avoid placing heavy items on top of it. With regular care, your SRFACE wetsuit will remain flexible, warm, and ready for the water whenever you are.
