SRFACE Wetsuits

Wetsuits built for women

SRFACE women’s front zip wetsuits are designed for easy entry, a secure fit, and high performance in the water. The front zip closure sits higher on the chest, reducing cold water entry while giving you more freedom through the back and shoulders. Our front zip wetsuits are built specifically for the female form, each wetsuit offers a balanced combination of warmth, flexibility, and comfort so you can stay focused on your surf.

Designed for comfort and performance

Our wetsuits are made from premium limestone neoprene and lined with recycled thermal fabric, with the exception of the Eco line, which is made from high-quality Yulex® natural rubber. Glued and blind stitched seams are reinforced with internal taping to seal out water and lock in heat. Choose from full-length women’s wetsuits for cooler conditions or front zip shorty wetsuits for warmer sessions, each designed to move with you and perform in real-world surf.

Variety of women wetsuit sizes

SRFACE provide a wide range of wetsuit sizes for women, so every surfer finds their perfect fit. We don’t carry just the regular sizes of wetsuits but also the Tall and Short variant. Don’t worry though, it’s not too overwhelming to choose the right size as you can use our Size Finder. Simply input your measurements and receive personalized size recommendations. That’s how easy it is.

Explore the full range of women’s front zip wetsuits and find the right fit for your conditions. Designed by surfers, tested in the lineup, and made to last.

FAQ

Front zip wetsuits offer several performance and comfort benefits over traditional back zip designs. By placing the zipper across the chest, front zip wetsuits reduce water flushing, the movement of cold water into the suit, which helps keep you warmer for longer. The front entry also allows for a more flexible and seamless back panel, giving you greater freedom of movement, especially when paddling or duck diving. Unlike back zip suits that can feel restrictive or create pressure along the spine, a front zip maintains comfort without sacrificing performance. Plus, there's no need to reach behind your neck to zip up, making it easier to get in and out of the suit on your own.

We use premium YKK front zippers, known globally for their high durability, corrosion resistance, and smooth operation even in harsh saltwater environments. These zippers are specifically chosen for their reliability in demanding surf conditions and are built to last through repeated use. However, as any technical product when exposed to sand, salt, and strain, zippers can occasionally develop issues over time. We recommend rinsing it thoroughly with fresh water after each session to prevent buildup. For any functional issues, you can always reach out to our team for advice or support.

Yes, SRFACE front zip wetsuits are designed to balance ease of entry with a secure, high-performance fit. While front zip wetsuits can feel snug at first (which is essential for warmth), the flexible neoprene and strategically placed opening make it relatively straightforward to get in and out, especially once you're used to the motion.

To put it on properly, step into the suit one leg at a time and pull it up gradually, making sure the material is evenly distributed and not bunched. Slide one arm in, then the other, and carefully pull the front zip flap over your head. Zip it up fully and adjust the neck seal for a flush fit. Taking it off is just as easy: reverse the steps and peel it off from the shoulders down.

The key is to avoid yanking. A smooth, controlled motion helps preserve the suit’s shape and extend its lifespan. For more details, check our guide.
